MoneyItems are digital cash. They come as documents, e.g. small text files, containing an amount of money, say 19,57 €. Maybe their best feature is that they behave just like positive numbers, 10 = 3 + 7, each of them being a unique money item. Ain't that cool? A central server guarantees correctness of the equation.
